what a lovely game. currently listening to the end screen piano music... trying not to look at my less than impressive battle report. it's been so long since i beat this game, since it first came out actually. i didn't beat my time record, i guess i was better when i was younger o.o

i can't wait for the next true installment. i'll probably play birth by sleep... and perhaps 358/2 days, but i'm not really a mobile system kinda guy. awwww

so, i haven't updated here since May. Wowzers. Sorry

the truth is i just hadn't been drawing... like at all o.o

But, i'd like to thank the 200 people who left various messages, faves, notes, comments etc in my inbox since august o.o umm... yeah i considered going through every single one and thanking each of you as i normally do but.... if i did it would be another 4 months before i updated again lol

i'm going to try and update more often from now on, i think im on my out of my drawing funk done a few speedpaints in the past few days. so, hopefully i am on the road to recovery lol

commissioning at anime north this weekend. probably should have pointed that out earlier in the week. but i was there today and will be back tomorrow all day we are located right outside the dealer's room exit in Comic Market/Artist Alley. im in the Draw You as an Anime Character "Shoppe" fun stuff.

i will post some stuff later, very happy to say ive done lots of stuff in the past few days, obviously, with commissions and all. but most have disappeared into the hands of paying people lol but ill draw more i promise

where the hell is Kingdom Hearts? its like it just disappeared from the fandom.... like its just gone. no merchandise, no prints or anything KH themed... its just so different than last year.... same thing as death note. it was so big last year... now its gone. its mostly gurren lagaan and umm.. d-gray man o.o i just dont understand... lol i cant keep up haha. the funny/ironic thing is that i have gurren lagaan prints i didint print/sell lol. maybe i shoulda lol

sorry guys. i got nothing.

i'm working on a piece of photo-art that i will submit HERE instead of on my photography account
i actually have been drawing. i just haven't submitted anything.... maybe i'll do that later this week...

i've just been really busy with school, and some theatre stuff i'm doing with and then i've got a whole bunch of work lined up in terms of photoshop lessons/photoshoots and i just dont know how i'm gunna fit it all in

oh well. it could be worse.... it has been worse. i'm just trying to turn my life back around to the golden age of clarity and smooth-riding. just takes a little work. so i cut my hair, and will do again (i gotta take these things in steps, y'know), and i cleaned my room (sorta), and i started flossing again. all in good time.... i'm just tired of the person i am. gotta start taking care of myself again.

thanks for the steady stream of support in my absence lol i realize that because i update my journal regularly it's not really an absence, but for me i feel like i never come on here anymore

i promise i won't update my journal again until i have something to show for it

i need a vacation. one where i can just be creative all day. whenever i feel like drawing or even taking pictures for that matter, i always have something else to do

hey guys. i've drawn quite a bit in the last few weeks, at least more than usual (which isn't saying much). pretty much all of it is traditional though, and right now im way too lazy to scan/photograph it. if i do anything spectacular i'll post it, but i've mostly just been working on some personal concept art and faerie art. i know it's been a while since i uploaded some true fantasy art but i've been prepping myself for anime north.

the sparsity of pageviews and faves lately suggests that my slacker attitude will get me no where and i seriously need to reclaim your faith in me in the time i have gotten 1k pageviews here, i got close to 2k on my photography account. i love to draw, i'm just lacking in the inspiration department. plus, im not done exploring photography yet.

but, as anime north draws nearer, rest assured that i will have something to show for it undoubtedly.

i am so busy lately. this has been the first weekend in ages that i have not had some extremely stressful event take place. all i had to do this weekend was work on my photo-essay for school (which can be viewed here in it's entirety: [link]) i have exams next week and then it's the deceivingly calm first few weeks of the new semester, during which time i hope to relax and get SOMETHING done.

i got kingdom hearts re: chain of memories for christmas and i havent even unwrapped it yet. that's how little time i have had i got tales of beedle the bard and have yet to crack the spine on that. the only thing i have started really is Harry, A History, but i'm only 2 chapters in

oh well. i'm done whining.
